Understanding Yourself Your motivations Your natural strengths Potential areas for growth Understanding people who differ from you
Learning Objective:
Understand who you are and why you do what you do , and why others do what they do. Learn about your own psychological MBTI type and the four basic functions or processes that everyone uses. Identify which of two opposite categories is preferred on each of the four dichotomies. Increase understanding of both self and other people.
Anyone
who is interested in learning and understanding more about themselves and how
people with different types will likely be opposite in many ways.
The MBTI is a self report questionnaire that reports on preferences on four dichotomies, each consisting of two opposite poles. These preferences indicate the differences in people that result from the following - Where they prefer to focus their attention and get energy. The way they prefer to take in information. The way they prefer to make decisions. How they orient themselves to the outer world— with a judging process or perceiving process. Differences in people with different type.
